Woody Fun Club

Woodlesford Fun Club, is run by Woodlesford Primary staff, Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Harris, Miss Daley, Mrs Burnell, Mrs Stanley, Mrs Chen & Mrs Aitchison

The Club will run before and after school each day for children Reception to Year 6. The purpose of our club is to provide parents and carers with a safe, reliable childcare option. Our club also provides a safe, inviting and fun atmosphere in which the children can enjoy spending time.  
We have a separate indoor space to the rest of school and have access to school playgrounds, playing fields, Mud Kitchen and the adventure playground.

Activities:

After a hard day at school, the club offers a place to relax and socialise with friends and where children are free to choose activities and resources as they wish. We offer a range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, to reflect the interest of the children in our care. The children have access to a range of equipment including: footballs, skipping ropes and equipment to use their imagination when building obstacle courses. They have access to arts and crafts, the club aims to have creative activities every day and these take place both indoors and outdoors. Young children learn and develop so quickly, and play is fundamental in this as it helps to build self-worth and gives children a sense of their own abilities, which supports good self-esteem and well-being.

Times:

Morning 7.30am – 9.00am ( £6.50 per session) - Children will be escorted to their classes to start the school day.

Afternoon 3.20pm -6.00pm (£13.00 per session) - Children will be collected from their classes at the end of the school day.

Food: 

Children are provided with breakfast each morning, consisting of a selection of cereals, toast, crumpets, fruit and a range of drinks are provided also. There is also a snack option for after school. The menus are compliant with School Food Standards and approved by Leeds City Council Healthy Eating Advisor and Nutritionist.
