Healthy Eating Week 10th - 17th June

Pupils at Woodlesford Primary have been having lots of veg and fruit today to meet the #5ADAY challenge.

Look at us sharing our fruit at snack time. Thank you so much for all your contributions.

Not to mention extra vegetables for dinner!

It was great to see so many children take up and complete the challenge, eating their 5 A Day. Well done everyone!

'Kicking off Healthy Eating week #BNFHEW19 with our first challenge – Have breakfast every day!

Try to include wholegrain foods, one of our 5 A DAY and an unsweetened drink! #HaveBreakfast

Breakfast helps get the day off to a good start by providing some of the energy and nutrients the body needs for good health. What are you having for breakfast?

An Evening of piano music - 1st May 2019

Another wonderful, musical event was enjoyed by all on the evening of Wednesday 1st May. Our extremely talented pianists performed for family, friends and teachers. It has been our pleasure to watch these children progress and grow in both skills and confidence and they all demonstrated a true professionalism whist performing. We are very proud of these extremely talented individuals. It’s testament to the school that ex-students always join us for performances and it’s wonderful to see how they’ve flourished. They truly are an inspiration!

Congratulations to our Crossing Lady who celebrated her 70th birthday
