Terry Frost inspired paintings - by Year 5 & 6 Golden Art.

We researched the artist Terry Frost and abstract art. Children produced some amazing abstract paintings in his style.

Well done to children from Year 5 and 6 for their confident performance of their poem for National Poetry Day. We had wonderful afternoon with parents and children engaging in collaging a self portrait.
Thank you to the amazing support from all parents.

Golden Art Club

WOW! What a fantastic Golden Art session Mrs Golden had with Year 3 & Year 4 on Wednesday 3rd October. The children performed their poem on this year's National Poetry Day theme of 'Change' to their Parents. They spoke beautifully and they were a joy to listen to.

Afterwards the children and Parents joined in a fun art activity with a 'no rules' policy, the children had to collage their photo. Mrs Golden was very pleased with how the children had behaved and how they interacted with their peers and other adults.

The end masterpieces were magnificent! Well done to all!

Year 2 Art Club ' Our Seaside Cottages'
Children in Year 2 Art Club have made these beautiful seaside cottages. For some of them it was their first time to use sandpaper and a hammer! They have enjoyed it were so excited to be taking them home.

'I am very impressed in what they have produced and they should be very proud' said Mrs Golden (Art Club)

When you visit school, please come and see them as they are displayed in our glass cabinet.
