A new Child Friendly Leeds Ultimate Guide and blog site, which brings together local and national resources and activities for children and young people while we are all staying at home, is now live. Its aim is to help support parents and carers around the city with hints and tips on ways to keep their children entertained whilst the schools are closed. It includes online family-friendly events, the award-winning Leeds Curriculum from the council’s museums and galleries team, 21 top tips for keeping the kids entertained at home, details of our fortnightly #OurChildFriendlyLeeds competition, and lots of other fun and engaging activities. This is a really useful resource so please do help us get the message out to parents and families about this through your networks. And if you haven’t already seen the short message to children and young people in the city encouraging them to stay at home from, amongst others, the Leeds Children’s Mayor, Tom Riordan, and Councillors Venner and Pryor, you can see it here.
We achieve together, we learn together, we succeed together
