Whole School Events

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out at our 'Garden Day' 25/03/17.

We held our annual Book Fair and invited parents and carers to come into school and read with the children. Our older children also did 'paired reading' with younger children. Everyone had a lovely time reading to each other.

We recently held our annual Christmas Fayre, an event enjoyed by all.

10th June- Inclement weather meant that we had to do our parade in the school corridors instead of outdoors.

18th March Sport Relief Day, today we took part in lots of sport activities to help raise funds for charity

Saturday 12th March - Mega Charity Day held at Woodlesford raised over £3200. Thank you to everyone who supported

We had lots of fun dressing up as Book Characters for World Book Day

12th June 2014

Queen's Baton Relay Celebration Event: Our schools event was rugby and we were selected to take part in the celebration at The John Charles Stadium. It was a high profile event with the media interest from both local and national news teams. The children had been encouraged to design banners in support of Team England and the athletes who will be going to the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

D-Day Celebrations - throughout school we have been celebrating in various ways - watching videos, creating our own D-Day landings and listening to original broadcasts. Our children have not been made aware of the D-Day celebrations but also the reasons behind the landings and the legacy of the sacrifice made by our soldiers and their families on behalf of their country.
