The current PTA committee inherited a great reputation for helping the school out with those 'nice to have' items. The previous PTA was saving towards the 3 year lease of a minibus, which were we able to deliver last year, this helps keep the cost of school trips down, as in many cases there is no need to hire a coach. iPads have been provided for use throughout the school, and we understand from the teachers that they have become a fantastic asset to the classes. More recently, the PTA funded 50% of the cost of the mud kitchen and bought beautiful benches for 60 children, to be used as an outdoor classroom and for those enjoying a packed lunch once the weather is suitable. Funding for these items is requested by school at the PTA meetings and then funding is discussed and a decision is made. So if you would like a say in how the money is spent, please come along to a meeting!
